Consultants meeting the above criteria should submit a proposal marked \u201cCountry Safeguarding Context Mapping, Lebanon\u201d by e-mail to\u00a0tenders@trocaire.org<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0at the latest on 30th January, 2023, 5PM GMT.<\/p>\n

Proposals should include the following:
\n\u2022 The CV of the consultant(s), outlining relevant experience, accomplishments, and contact
\ninformation of 2 references.
\n\u2022 A written technical and financial proposal, outlining the proposed content, schedule\/work
\nplan and the consultant\u2019s proposed fees\/daily rate, with justification.
\n\u2022 Conflict of interest statement: Applicants should state clearly whether they have an actual or potential conflict of interest with the staff, volunteers, and\/or board of Tr\u00f3caire.<\/p>\n

Each technical proposal will be evaluated based on technical quality; background and experience of the consultant; and value for money.<\/p>\n

The successful candidate will be expected to sign and adhere to Tr\u00f3caire Safeguarding Policies.\u00a0 In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to complete a Self-Declaration Form.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

  1. Background<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Tr\u00f3caire is committed to keeping people safe from exploitation and abuse within our programmes and activities.\u00a0 We also give a commitment to respond appropriately should an allegation of abuse be raised.\u00a0 This includes complaints management, investigations and disciplinary processes as well as recognising our responsibility under the relevant legislation in Lebanon.<\/p>\n

    In order to ensure our safeguarding procedures are in line with both best practice and in-country legislation it is important to have a clear understanding of this in advance of any possible allegation.\u00a0 Not knowing this in advance could delay our capacity to respond (as we seek to find out this information) and\/or not respond appropriately.\u00a0\u00a0 Equally we want to ensure that the best supports are available for anyone who may be involved as this is central to a robust person-centred response.<\/p>\n

    The\u00a0Country Safeguarding Context Mapping<\/b>\u00a0is therefore an important document \/ set of documents which will help guide both the continued development of our safeguarding practices as well as ensuring we are well informed in order to take immediate appropriate action should an incident occur.<\/p>\n

    1. Objectives of the study<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      2.1 Overall Objective<\/h3>\n

      The objective of this study is to provide a report with Lebanon specific safeguarding information that would support the roll-out of the Tr\u00f3caire and partners\u2019 response\/management of potential safeguarding concerns.<\/p>\n
