The Opportunity<\/strong><\/p>\n

The role of the Child Protection Coordinator will be to take on a key role in the implementation and overseeing the quality of work of the child protection sector, including case management , lead on the capacity building of Save the Children\u2019s child protection and case management teams, support capacity building and development of National NGOs in case management and child protection, and take a key role in the sector working groups and task forces. She\/he will ensure that SC Lebanon\u2019s work in this sector is fully aligned with the inter-agency approaches and tools\/SOPs developed by the Child Protection in Emergency Working Group (UNHCR-UNICEF-MOSA), its Case Management sub-working group, and that it strategically contributes to the medium- and long-term CP system strengthening work led by the Ministry of Social Affairs (MOSA).<\/p>\n

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours and tasks accordingly.<\/p>\n
